My Review of Twinkle Twinkle Little Bat
(5 / 5)
This was such a cute book! I love these kids ones with short stories perfect for bedtime!
There was a choose your own adventure story which took me back to my childhood! There was so many stories! Everything from a zoo in a classroom to a parrot that thought he was a chicken! My personal favourite was Dreamo Machino about a dream machine!
I adored the scattered illustrations they were so cute! And the cover is brilliant!
What did my kids think of Twinkle Twinkle Little Bat?
Unfortunately it was a little advanced for my son. Although he is nearly 5, he isn’t quite up to these sorts of books yet. Unless there are pictures on every page his attention span is about the size of a goldfish! Also he told me it was a bit scary. Figures that the dinosaur obsessed child who can watch dinosaurs tear each other apart can be afraid of a story with a pig in a classroom!
He also was a bit afraid when I threatened to send him to the School of Kids who only eat plain pasta… Guess what a staple is at our house!
Would I recommend Twinkle Twinkle Little Bat?
Yes I thought it was really cute! I can’t wait until my son is just a little bit older I am certain that he is going to love it! Onto the bookshelf it goes!
Thanks to Pan Macmillan Australia for a copy of Twinkle Twinkle Little Bat for me and the kids to review.
